This year’s World Cup will take place in Vienna. FIBA 3×3 announced the pools and the Polish men’s and women’s 3×3 basketball national teams met their opponents. The tournament will be held on May 30 – June 4.
Poland’s female team is part of Group C, where they will go up against Japan, the powerful German squad, reigning African champions Egypt, and a team that was determined through the World Cup Qualifying Tournament.
The men’s team is also a part of Group C. Their upcoming opponents are Lithuania, who are the silver medalists from the last World Championships, Belgium, Puerto Rico, and WCQ.
The titles won in 2022 in Antwerp, Belgium, are defended by the teams of France (women) and Serbia (men).
Women:
Group B: Germany, Japan, Poland, Egypt, WCQ
Men:
Group C: Lithuania, Belgium, Poland, WCQ
