    This morning, President Andrzej Duda visited Lądek-Zdrój, a town severely impacted by recent floods. Following the announcement by National Security Bureau head Jacek Siewiera, Duda’s visit was planned to avoid disrupting ongoing rescue operations. On Friday morning, the Presidential Office confirmed Duda’s visit to the Lower Silesia and Opole regions, which have also suffered from flooding.

    During his visit, President Duda met with local authorities and rescue services, inspecting the damage and discussing relief efforts. He expressed concern about the upcoming winter, particularly in mountainous areas like Lądek-Zdrój. Duda stressed the urgency of clearing mud from buildings due to dropping temperatures and inquired about volunteer efforts. Authorities reassured that they are prepared to accommodate volunteers willing to assist.
