President Duda: Dirty Campaign Tactics Should Not Decide Poland’s Future

“It should not be the dirty tactics we unfortunately witness in the campaign that decide the future of Poland, but the citizens themselves, acting in accordance with their beliefs. It is we – the Polish people – who will choose who will lead our country,” Andrzej Duda reiterated.

President Andrzej Duda delivered his address today ahead of the second round of the presidential elections.

“This coming Sunday, we will decide who will hold the highest office in the Republic of Poland – who will be the guardian of our country’s security, internal order, and sovereignty. We will choose not only a person but also the path that Poland will follow over the next five years – so that it becomes a strong, independent, just state, resistant to external pressure,” the president began.

“Poland needs a strong leader. A president who is a true patriot, a defender of the Polish national interest, and a guardian of Polish affairs. We need someone who knows the history of Poland, can draw lessons from it, and knows how to defend our country – so that we do not have to fear the stronger, but instead become stronger ourselves,” Andrzej Duda emphasized.

“We need a president who can make decisions with a sense of responsibility for the common good – not under the pressure of short-term political interests or external influences. Someone who will support Polish families, protecting their needs and prosperity. Someone who will care for national security, the modernization of the armed forces, the strengthening of borders, and international relations. Someone who will ensure that the state fosters economic growth and employment under dignified conditions. A president who will be the patron of strategic national investments, as well as local projects that improve the quality of life in every municipality. We need a president who will uphold the dignity of citizens – building a community proud of its identity and over a thousand years of history,”

declared the head of state.

“It should not be the dirty tactics we unfortunately witness in the campaign that decide the future of Poland, but the citizens themselves, acting in accordance with their beliefs. It is we – the Polish people – who will choose who will lead our country,” Andrzej Duda reiterated.
