    In a formal ceremony held at the Belweder Palace on Monday (Sep 2), President of Poland Andrzej Duda received the credentials of six new ambassadors, marking the official commencement of their diplomatic missions in Poland. The event underscored Poland’s ongoing commitment to fostering international relations and cooperation with nations across the globe.

    The ambassadors who presented their credentials include:

    • Friđrik Jónsson, Ambassador of Iceland
    • Tapaswarage Priyangika Dharmasena, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
    • Jakob Henningsen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark
    • Sandra América Noriega Urízar de Kugler, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala
    • Valdemaras Sarapinas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania
    • Johannes Hermann Adrianus Cornelis de Mol, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

    During the ceremony, President Duda expressed Poland’s eagerness to strengthen bilateral relations with each of these countries. He highlighted the significance of diplomatic dialogue and collaboration in addressing global challenges, such as security, trade, and environmental issues.
