“We’re discussing it, we’re considering which countries should come first, second, and third. We’re holding talks, we were speaking about it even in recent weeks, before the inauguration,” said Marcin Przydacz on TV Republika. He also revealed which country President Nawrocki is considering as his first foreign destination.
“During the election campaign, the president expressed his readiness, wanting to show how he would conduct foreign policy and where our key allies are. He pointed to Washington, which he would like to visit first. He is trying to stay true to that declaration, and we will certainly be working in the near future to make that visit possible,”
Przydacz indicated, while also adding that no specific date has yet been set.
“Whether it will be the first, second, or third visit also depends on decisions from both sides. The two capitals must agree on a specific date. But Washington will definitely be very important to him, as will the capitals of our region, that is, the Bucharest Nine, expanded by two new allies, and the Three Seas Initiative,”
he enumerated.
When asked whether President Nawrocki’s visit schedule was already being planned, Marcin Przydacz confirmed it:
“We’re discussing it, we’re considering which countries should come first, second, and third. We’re holding talks, including in recent weeks, even before the inauguration,” he revealed.
He also recalled that Karol Nawrocki has already held a number of telephone conversations, including with President Donald Trump, and the presidents of Lithuania, Finland, and Ukraine. “There have been quite a few such conversations,” he said.
He also reminded that the president, at that time still president-elect, had already made his first visit. It took place at the invitation of the Secretary General of NATO.
“It wasn’t a typical lunch, but it helped foster a very positive atmosphere in the relationship,”
he emphasized.
