President Karol Nawrocki spent Christmas Eve with soldiers and officers serving on the eastern border. A meeting took place in Jaryłówka during which the President expressed his pride in the service of the uniformed personnel.
In Jaryłówka, President Karol Nawrocki held a Christmas Eve meeting with soldiers and officers stationed on Poland’s eastern border. The President of the Republic of Poland was accompanied by his closest associates, including the Head of the National Security Bureau, Sławomir Cenckiewicz.
“I could not have imagined a more beautiful Christmas Eve than the one spent with Polish soldiers and Polish officers,”
the President said in Jaryłówka.
“This Christmas Eve will be unique and special in my life. Christmas Eve is a time of awaiting the coming of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, but also the most powerful man in the history of the world. Each year, on Christmas Eve, our great hope is reborn,”
the President added.
It is hope for peace, because, as Karol Nawrocki emphasized, “we want love and mercy; we want independent states attached to democratic values.” But wars, unfortunately, are part of our social reality, and borders must be defended, especially in light of what is happening beyond Poland’s eastern border.
“We want peace and security. But this cannot be achieved without the daily sacrifice of soldiers and officers. I came here to express my profound respect,”
President Nawrocki said.
