“With deep regret, we inform that on September 19, 2025, during a night parachute training exercise conducted in the United States, a tragic accident occurred, resulting in the death of two Special Forces soldiers,” the General Command of the Armed Forces announced on social media. The President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, also addressed the matter.
“The families of the fallen have been provided with comprehensive support. The causes of the incident are under investigation by a special commission established to clarify this tragic event,” the General Command stated.
President Karol Nawrocki extended to the families and loved ones of the victims his “sincere condolences and solidarity in their grief.”
“May God keep their souls in His care,” the President emphasised.
The Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, also expressed condolences to the families.
“Extremely sad news has reached us from the United States. During night parachute training exercises in the U.S., two of our outstanding Special Forces soldiers lost their lives. The families of the fallen have been provided with full support. I extend to them my deepest condolences,” the minister’s statement read.
