Russia’s aggression against Ukraine poses a serious threat to the security of all Europe. History teaches us that ignoring Russia’s imperial ambitions has always led to tragedy – President Karol Nawrocki recalled on the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Four years have passed since the outbreak of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine. However, the fighting had been ongoing for years in the Donbas region, beginning shortly after Russia’s unlawful seizure of Crimea in early 2014.
“Russia’s aggression against Ukraine poses a serious threat to the security of all Europe. History teaches us that ignoring Russia’s imperial ambitions has always led to tragedy,” President Karol Nawrocki stressed.
“The democratic world must remain united in the face of such challenges. We expect an end to actions destabilizing the region. We look with respect at the courage of the people who stand up for freedom every single day,” he added.
