On Thursday, President Karol Nawrocki announced his decision to veto the bill concerning the EU SAFE loan. The president’s veto triggered reactions across the entire government camp. Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, during which the government effectively adopted a resolution on SAFE. The officials obliged to sign the agreements are Finance Minister Andrzej Domański and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
