Presidential Spokesperson Addresses Tusk: “With a Special Dedication”

– “It was your government that left the remains of the victims of April 10, 2010, in the Russian swamp,” wrote Presidential Spokesperson Rafał Leśkiewicz, directing his remarks at Prime Minister Donald Tusk. He also shared a recording in which President Karol Nawrocki says that “Poles love Hungarians – and hate Vladimir Putin.”

On Monday, President of Poland Karol Nawrocki met in Przemyśl with the President of Hungary, Tamás Sulyok. The two leaders delivered statements, after which a TVN24 reporter asked a question: “Does Orbán’s closeness with Putin not bother you?”

“What exactly do you want to ask? Were you not listening to the press conference? Were you not listening to what I think about Vladimir Putin? You’ve made reports claiming Putin is after me? Get a grip and listen to what the president is saying! Vladimir Putin is a criminal, do you understand? Goodbye!” President Nawrocki responded.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk quickly posted on X, referring to a “Russian swamp.”

The situation was later addressed by the presidential spokesperson.

– “With a special dedication to Prime Minister Donald Tusk. It was your government that left the remains of the victims of April 10, 2010, in the Russian swamp,” wrote Rafał Leśkiewicz.

The spokesperson also attached a recording in which Karol Nawrocki states: “There are also issues where we agree to disagree. Poles love Hungarians – and hate Vladimir Putin.”
