The Polish and American tennis stars are expected to step onto the court around 1 p.m., but not before 12:30 p.m. Their match is slated as the second one on the centre court, guaranteeing an exciting showdown for spectators.

Preceding their match, at 11 a.m., Tunisian player Ons Jabeur (No. 7) will compete against Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia (No. 14). Following that, Świątek and Gauff will go head-to-head in what promises to be an enthralling encounter.

    Gauff’s path to the quarter-finals has been marked by consecutive victories against Rebecca Masarova of Spain (3-6, 6-1, 6-2), Austria’s Julia Grabher (6-2, 6-3), Russia’s Mirra Andreyeva (6-7, 6-1, 6-1), and Slovakia’s Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (7-5, 6-2).

In this year’s edition, Świątek kicked off her campaign with a win against Spain’s Cristina Bucsa (6-4, 6-0) in the opening round. She continued her dominant form in the second round, defeating American Claire Liu by the same scoreline. In the third round, the Polish champion did not give China’s Xinyu Wang any opportunity, securing a convincing 6-0, 6-0 victory. However, her 1/8 final match against Ukrainian Lesia Curenko was cut short after just 31 minutes due to Curenko’s withdrawal at 5-1 in the first set.
