Robert Lewandowski joins Karol Nawrocki in a noble cause

Robert Lewandowski has joined the Movember campaign, sporting the trademark moustache and reminding everyone of the importance of men’s health awareness. The video posted by the Barcelona striker on Instagram also features President Karol Nawrocki, as well as other sports stars such as Bartosz Zmarzlik, Jakub Błaszczykowski, and Bartosz Kurek.

Lewandowski has been involved in social initiatives for years. This time, the captain of Poland’s national football team and FC Barcelona forward decided to support a campaign particularly important for men’s health. In the social media clip shared by Lewandowski, President Karol Nawrocki and numerous other well-known figures from the world of sports and beyond also make appearances.

Lewandowski reminds men to get checked

Movember is an international campaign symbolized by growing moustaches throughout November. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of regular health screenings, especially for prostate and testicular cancer — diseases that are still too often diagnosed too late.

“Gentlemen, no matter your age, views, or shape — we only have one health! November reminds us: get checked!” — wrote Robert Lewandowski on Instagram.
