“I have felt safe with him for 20 years, and Poland will be too.” Marta Nawrocka about her husband: He keeps his word
“For 20 years now, I have consistently felt safe by his side, and I know that with such a president, Poland will be safe too,” declared Marta Nawrocka, the wife of Karol Nawrocki, at the convention of the civic candidate for President of Poland.
On Sunday, Karol Nawrocki held his campaign convention in Łódź. For the first time during her husband’s campaign, Marta Nawrocka took the stage to speak.
“As a wife, as the mother of our children, and as a friend, I can always count on him. He always keeps his word. He always does what he promises,” she assured the audience.
She said that her husband is “made up of three essential elements: himself, his family, and his work.”
“When it comes to his professional life, examples include the overhaul of the exhibition at the Museum of the Second World War, the construction of a cemetery at Westerplatte to properly honor Polish heroes, the removal of Soviet monuments from public spaces, and the introduction of new educational programs at the Institute of National Remembrance,”
she said.
“As for Karol personally, he shows incredible determination,” she added, citing examples such as completing his doctorate, authoring books and scientific publications, and undertaking MBA studies. She also emphasized his commitment to spiritual and physical development.
“When it comes to our family, whenever he makes us a promise, he keeps it,” she stressed.
“When Kasia wanted to feel like a princess, Dad took her to a real castle in Gniew. And when Antek, a fan of the TV series Father Mateusz, wanted to visit Sandomierz, Dad didn’t hesitate. They jumped in the car, traveled across Poland, explored beautiful Sandomierz, and visited the museum. And when I wanted to go skiing in the mountains—even though Karol isn’t a big fan of winter sports—he kept his promise. We went to our beautiful Bieszczady Mountains, I skied, and Karol cheered me on,”
she recalled warmly.
“Karol acts with the same consistency in every area of his life. It’s no different now during the campaign. He talks about what needs to change in Poland, and just like he has always done—whatever he promises, he follows through with ironclad determination. I will choose a president who will care for all Poles as he does for his own family. I know that once he becomes president, he will have less time for us, but as a customs and tax officer myself, I understand how important it is to serve the state, and I will fully support him in that,”
she emphasized.
“For 20 years now, I have consistently felt safe by his side, and I know that with such a president, Poland will be safe too. On May 18th, we are going for victory,” she concluded.
