Tomasz Sakiewicz announced that a formal notification concerning terrorist attacks targeting TV Republika has been filed with the prosecutor’s office. “We will demand a fair investigation into this matter, access to the documentation, and that those responsible are punished. That will happen sooner or later. Today, we are taking the first step,” said the CEO of TV Republika.
“Poland is under pressure from cyberattacks.” TV Republika demands investigation
Over the past several days, a series of false emergency alerts allegedly targeting TV Republika and individuals associated with the station have taken place.
As Tomasz Sakiewicz recalled, “TV Republika has become the victim of cyberattacks classified as terrorist attacks. This concerns our newsrooms, our homes, our activities, and our families.” As a result, the station decided to file a formal complaint regarding terrorist attacks against TV Republika.
“We want a proper investigation to be launched and for this matter to be treated the way it should be treated in an independent state that cares about its sovereignty and security. Poland today is under pressure from cyberattacks targeting the most important figures in the country, the most important television station, and the opposition. We will demand a fair investigation into this matter, access to the documentation, and that those responsible are punished. That will happen sooner or later. Today, we are taking the first step,”
Sakiewicz stressed.
