Sasin Responds to Onet’s “Revelations”: “Someone Sold You a False Narrative!”

“There was neither wafer-sharing nor carols. Someone sold you a false narrative” wrote Jacek Sasin, former head of the Ministry of State Assets (MAP), on social media. This was a response to Onet’s alleged findings claiming that within Law and Justice (PiS) there were supposedly… three different Christmas Eve gatherings.

For some time now, unofficial talk in the corridors of Law and Justice (PiS) has pointed to an internal conflict within the party. Nevertheless, politicians from Jarosław Kaczyński’s camp insist that work is underway to develop a single, concrete platform – ahead of the 2027 parliamentary elections.

According to media reports – it was, among other things, the disciplining of politicians that prompted the PiS leadership to meet on Friday. However, pro-government media decided to turn this into a “sensation,” framed within a somewhat different narrative.

The topic was raised in an Onet audio program by Jacek Gądek and Dominika Długosz. “They reveal PiS’s most closely guarded Christmas secret. Namely, there were not two Christmas Eve gatherings in the party – as previously thought – but as many as three. The first was organized for all PiS members by party leader Jarosław Kaczyński. The second, for his own circle, by former prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki. And the most secret one was organized by former deputy prime minister Jacek Sasin. As some say, during the wafer-sharing – pardon – he was ‘vomiting’ on Morawiecki. Others are more diplomatic. They claim that Sasin held festive discussions with his guests about Poland – a Poland without Morawiecki, naturally”, we read on the German-Swiss portal.

What is more, Gądek himself posted on X, writing:

In PiS there were not two, but as many as three “Christmas Eve gatherings.” The third one, shrouded in mystery, was organized by Jacek Sasin. Around 30-35 MPs attended.

Sasin took jabs at Mateusz Morawiecki during it. Amid the carols, there was a belief voiced that “Morawka” would leave PiS next year. Malicious tongues say that instead of feasting, there was “vomit…” directed at the former prime minister.

Sasin Responds to Onet

Jacek Sasin, who was allegedly supposed to have organized the “third Christmas Eve,” responded to Onet’s “revelations.”

“Listeners ask: Is it true that in Moscow, on Red Square, they are giving away cars? Radio Yerevan replies: Essentially yes, but not in Moscow, only in Leningrad. Not on Red Square, but near Warsaw Station. Not cars, but bicycles. And they’re not giving them away, they’re stealing them.” That is how it is with the story about a Christmas Eve that was in reality a meeting of the PiS program team appointed by party leader Jarosław Kaczyński, he wrote.

And he added – “and one more thing. There was neither wafer-sharing nor carols. Someone sold you a false narrative.”
