Sroka Threatens Romanowski Despite Admitting She “Doesn’t Know Where He Is.” “Tracking Him Down Is a Matter of Hours or Days”

“I think tracking down Mr. Romanowski is a matter of hours or days, and he too will face justice,” claimed Magdalena Sroka, an MP from the Polish People’s Party (PSL). Moments later, however, she admitted that “it is not known where the PiS politician is staying.”

Marcin Romanowski, a former deputy justice minister, like Zbigniew Ziobro, was granted political asylum in Hungary. At the moment, however, it remains unclear whether the Law and Justice (PiS) politician is still in Budapest or, like Ziobro, has changed his location. Earlier today, Romanowski spoke publicly for the first time in several days by posting a short video online.

In the recording, Romanowski stated: “Circumstances are changing, but the fight for Poland continues and will continue until victory over Tusk’s harmful and disgraceful crypto-dictatorship. This was an important stage of my activity — a stage in which, despite repression, I consistently did my job.”

He also announced: “That is why we move forward. Even stronger, even more consistently. I thank everyone for their support, especially our Hungarian brothers, who themselves now need protection from the Hungarian version of Tusk. But we will not retreat, we will not stop. I continue to fight for Poland’s victory over these puppets from Brussels and Berlin.”

Sroka Already Making Threats

The issue of Marcin Romanowski was discussed during today’s program on Wirtualna Polska, which featured Magdalena Sroka (PSL), who heads the controversial Pegasus commission. First, however, Sroka was asked whether former justice minister Zbigniew Ziobro’s departure was evidence that “the state had acted improperly.”

“I think this burden of responsibility is definitely shared. Zbigniew Ziobro is a coward who fled, who is afraid to stand before the justice system,” she replied.

She added: “The second issue is whether the state acted quickly enough to prevent such a development of events.”

Later, she claimed that “tracking down” Romanowski was only a matter of time.

“I think tracking down Mr. Romanowski is a matter of hours or days, and he too will face justice,” Sroka said.

At the same time, although she mentioned that “in Romanowski’s case there is a European arrest warrant,” she admitted that “we still do not know where he is.”

According to the PSL MP, new information regarding the PiS politician’s whereabouts has been emerging since this morning. She assessed that, contrary to media speculation, Romanowski is not currently in the United States, while citing rumors suggesting he may allegedly be “in Romania or Serbia.”

“Since this morning, information has been appearing that he is somewhere, but not in the United States. Various people are joining the search for Mr. Romanowski,” she said.
