A heated exchange on social media. Tomasz Lis took a jab at Krzysztof Stanowski following the presidential debate — but a swift and biting response quickly went viral. In his signature ironic style, Stanowski called out the former Newsweek editor-in-chief.
Według Pana zadawanie pytań przedstawicielowi partii rządzącej jest dyskwalifikujące. Oczywiście mogłem – jak Pan – przynieść tort i odśpiewać "100 lat", ale zabrakło mi budżetu. Pan miał niepowtarzalny rozmach we włażeniu w dupę. https://t.co/BT4Jpo7JRH

Lis Took a Shot. Stanowski Crushed Him.
Tomasz Lis commented on the “debate” organized by Trzaskowski’s campaign team in Końskie, where journalist Krzysztof Stanowski participated as a candidate. Lis sarcastically suggested that Stanowski “should join PiS,” while Hołownia and Biejat “should leave the coalition.”
Stanowski didn’t hold back in his response:
— “According to you, asking questions to a representative of the ruling party is disqualifying. Of course, I could have — like you — brought a cake and sung ‘Happy Birthday,’ but I didn’t have the budget for it. You had an unmatched flair for kissing ass,” Stanowski wrote.
The comments online were clear-cut. Social media users didn’t spare Lis, quickly reminding him of his own “journalistic independence” — sharing photos and videos of the former TVP journalist celebrating Donald Tusk’s birthday live on air.
