The Coalition Is Barely Holding Together. They Wouldn’t Be in Power Today!

According to the latest poll conducted by the IBRiS research institute for Rzeczpospolita—the first survey of party preferences following the presidential election—right-wing parties currently enjoy the highest levels of support. This means that… Donald Tusk would lose power!

Poll Results Unfavorable for the Coalition
Leading the party rankings is the Civic Coalition, which garnered 32.3% support—a 1.2 percentage point increase compared to the March survey. Close behind is Law and Justice (PiS), with 28.3% support, marking a 0.8 percentage point rise.

Confederation holds third place with a notable 20.7% of respondents indicating support—more than Sławomir Mentzen received in the first round of the presidential election.

Third Way Falling Behind?
The Left received 6.3% support, an increase of 1.8 percentage points. Third Way, on the other hand, saw a decline of 0.7 percentage points, falling to 5.1%. This would place the alliance below the 8% electoral threshold required for coalitions, effectively excluding it from seat allocation in the Sejm.

The Together party would also remain outside of parliament, despite increasing its support to 3.1%—a 1.2 percentage point gain. Meanwhile, 4% of respondents did not express a clear voting preference.

Moreover, this is yet another poll that reflects this very trend.
