Left activist Piotr Czerniejewski posted a video on TikTok in which he does not hide his joy at the death of Charlie Kirk. The scandalous reaction of the Left politician, who is also the deputy chair of the Konin City Council, to the murder of the conservative activist met with sharp criticism from internet users and some politicians. Law and Justice (PiS) MP Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk directly asked the Left whether “they endorse, or even welcome with joy, the killing of people for their political views.”
Charlie Kirk, founder of the influential conservative organisation Turning Point USA, was shot dead at the age of 31 during an event on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. The incident, deemed an act of political violence, shocked the United States. Unfortunately, both in the US itself and also in Poland, a number of posts and materials have appeared expressing joy at Kirk’s murder.
One such person is the Left activist Piotr Czerniejewski, who posted a video on TikTok. According to Czerniejewski’s profile on X, he is the deputy chair of the Konin City Council and a member of the Left’s National Board.
PiS MP Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk asked whether “the Konin City Council still maintains such a pathology as the Left activist Piotr Czerniejewski, who, in a disgusting manner, rejoices at the killing of a person, in the position of deputy chair of the Council?” He then directed the question to the Left.
“Do you support, and even welcome with joy, killing on account of political views?”

Another PiS MP, Paweł Jabłoński, asked whether “Piotr Czerniejewski still remains the deputy chair of the Konin City Council and a member of the Left’s national board – has he faced any consequences?”
