It was MP Konrad Frysztak of Civic Platform (KO) who, during Friday’s uproar in the Sejm, actively advised Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty of New Left (Lewica) which Law and Justice (PiS) MPs should be removed from the session – according to the official Sejm transcript. KO politicians were also discussing among themselves who should take away the “Don’t Tell Anyone” signs from MPs Dariusz Matecki and Michał Woś. At one point, someone said, “Patryk, take it from him”.
During Friday’s sitting of the Sejm, MP Dariusz Matecki (Law and Justice (PiS)) stepped into the center of the chamber holding a banner reading “Don’t Tell Anyone.” The slogan was accompanied by a photo of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Kamila L. – convicted in a pedophilia and bestiality scandal in Kłodzko. Meanwhile, MP Michał Woś held a photo of Deputy Speaker Monika Wielichowska with the same convicted woman. Both opposition MPs were expelled from the session by Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty.
“Pedophilia scandals.” How Prime Minister Tusk reacted to these words
Shortly before the entire happening, MP Przemysław Czarnek also took the floor.
“Mr. Speaker! High House! One must have a serious fire in one’s own camp to come here, to this podium, and try to blame the President for some company that, among other things, sponsored your ideological Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity with hundreds of thousands of zlotys. You are trying to cover up your pedophilia scandals in Lower Silesia, the photos of your Prime Minister with the woman accused of it. You will not succeed.” – said the Law and Justice (PiS) candidate for prime minister.
How did Donald Tusk react to these words? At the moment the phrase “pedophilia scandals” was uttered, the Prime Minister’s facial expression clearly changed and a… smile appeared. Or a “poker face,” as one user described it on X.com.
Frysztak Steps in to Help Czarzasty. “Woś as well”
The previously mentioned altercation then escalated, with vulgar language being used. “Give it here, f***” – one of the ruling coalition politicians said to Dariusz Matecki (Law and Justice (PiS)). Moments later, Matecki was expelled from the session by Czarzasty, but that was not the end, as the Speaker quickly found “helpers” who advised him on who else should be removed from the chamber. One of the most active in this regard was KO MP Konrad Frysztak.
“Mr. Speaker, you made a mistake. It was MP Woś,” someone shouted from the chamber.
“Woś as well,” added MP Frysztak, while another voice said: “Woś, Mr. Speaker.”
Speaker Czarzasty then also expelled Michał Woś. At that point, MP Frysztak moved into the center of the altercation, calling MP Matecki a “hater”. The transcript also shows that KO MPs coordinated taking the signs away from PiS MPs. “Patryk, take it from him” was heard, although the author of these words was not identified. It can only be assumed that the remark was directed at MP Patryk Jaskulski of Civic Platform (KO), who was also actively involved in the scuffle.
