The United Arab Emirates Open Safe Air Corridors – 48 Flights Per Hour

The United Arab Emirates, in coordination with other Gulf states, have opened safe air corridors. Their maximum capacity currently stands at 48 aircraft per hour.

Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri stated on Tuesday that this is one of the measures aimed at ensuring the continuity of economic and tourism activity amid ongoing changes in the region.

The air corridors were established in cooperation with neighboring countries, the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the International Civil Aviation Organization.

The ministry assumes that the capacity of the corridors may be increased depending on developments and security assessments – the portal reported.

The minister’s remarks came on the fourth day of the war between the United States and Israel against Iran.
