“They will lose—and by a wide margin.” Jakubiak reminds the Right: “That is what we agreed upon.”

“I have never been a member of Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość), but I have always supported the United Right because I used to go to sleep in Poland and wake up in Poland. […] Today, I am no longer so certain,” stated Marek Jakubiak in an interview with TV Republika.

Marek Jakubiak, a presidential candidate, was the guest on the evening programme on TV Republika. During the conversation, the politician criticized the “13 December Coalition” in the context of the upcoming presidential elections.

“Do you know why Poland is performing so poorly, why we are burdened with such enormous debt? The Polish state is simply expensive. We have more official cars in ministries than ambulances—that is inconceivable,”

he pointed out.

He recalled that in recent years, “Poland achieved such results because people were motivated.”

“Because people felt strongly, they believed in themselves. I’m referring to everyone—from the average Pole to the distinguished Pole; we were all building Poland. Unfortunately, today, the country is regressing,” Jakubiak added, highlighting what he called “a radical decline in consumer enthusiasm.”

He went on to say, “I wish for Poland to have leaders like Donald Trump, who is now fighting for the United States.”

Further emphasizing his position, he repeated: “I have never been in Law and Justice, but I have always supported the United Right because I used to go to sleep in Poland and wake up in Poland. That’s not just a slogan. It’s something we must talk about, as we often forget it. Today, I am no longer so certain.”

He invoked the example of the migration crisis:

“Today, Donald Tusk claims not a single refugee will set foot here, while the Germans say that nine thousand are already present. Who is telling the truth? Who is lying? This is a gang of fraudsters.”

“They will lose—and by a wide margin. In the second round, no additional support will go to Trzaskowski, while the candidate from the opposing side can count on the full support of the right wing. That is the agreement we all made together. We must wrest Poland from the hands of Donald Tusk, and we will do it,”

Jakubiak concluded.
