Karol Nawrocki, Krzysztof Stanowski, Szymon Hołownia, and Marek Jakubiak—these four presidential candidates will definitely be appearing in TV Republika’s debate in Końskie at 6:50 p.m. According to the station’s president, Tomasz Sakiewicz, the debate organized by Rafał Trzaskowski one hour later is a sign of fear.
“It all started when we invited everyone to Monday’s debate. We wanted all the candidates to meet in the TV Republika studio and have a normal discussion. Rafał Trzaskowski was one of the few who rejected the idea,” Sakiewicz said.
“Wanting to cover up that he got scared of the debate, he came up with the idea: ‘Let only Nawrocki come under my conditions, we won’t let other candidates in, only friendly TV stations,’” continued the TV Republika president. He added that since TV Republika was not allowed inside the venue, the Strefa Wolnego Słowa (Free Speech Zone) network quickly organized an open debate in the town square.
“Everyone wants to come to us, while over there they’re barricading themselves with security!” Sakiewicz remarked.
At this moment, it’s known that at least four candidates will take part in the debate on the town square. As for Trzaskowski’s debate, it’s possible that only the Civic Coalition candidate himself will be present.
