“Marshal Czarzasty is today endangering the security of Poland and each of us through a coordinated attack on the President of the United States,” Tomasz Sakiewicz accused the politician.
The scandal sparked by Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty (New Left) continues to reverberate in the media. Public criticism of the President of the United States triggered a sharp response from Ambassador Tom Rose, unnecessarily putting Polish-American relations at risk.
The president of TV Republika and editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Polska” and “Gazeta Polska Codziennie,” Tomasz Sakiewicz, spoke out on the matter.
“I want to share a comment, as an editor-in-chief and as a person who has always worked for Polish-American relations, since the underground days. Poland is a sovereign country, and no one can choose our authorities for us. Unfortunately, such violations of our sovereignty have already occurred several times. Among other things, through the overthrow of the government of Mateusz Morawiecki, also with the use of the American embassy. There is evidence that during the 2023 elections, servers located in Cyprus controlled the movement of buses transporting voters to various polling stations. This was probably an action influenced by the European Union. We will investigate this matter,” he said on his program “Political Coffee.”
He recalled that there is also information about hundreds of millions of dollars spent on organizations that contributed to the overthrow of the Morawiecki government. “No state may interfere in our internal affairs, but…” he emphasized on TV Republika.
And further: “One does not conduct policy toward an ally by insulting that ally, by insulting the President of the United States. The U.S. ambassador had a duty to respond to insults directed at the American president when they are made by a person who, in the event of illness of our president, may take over power in the state.”
“Marshal Czarzasty is today endangering the security of Poland and each of us through a coordinated attack on the President of the United States,” he concluded.
