In a chilling incident this morning in Nozdrzec, a tree-cutting operation almost turned tragic when a branch fell on a moving car, injuring a 4-year-old girl. The accident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. along a county road where tree cutting was underway.
According to police spokesperson Assistant Tomasz Hałka of Brzozów, “A branch cut by a worker fell and pierced the front windshield of an Audi passing by at the time.” The young girl, a passenger in the vehicle, was immediately rushed to the Clinical Provincial Hospital No. 2 in Rzeszów for medical examination.
The 29-year-old Audi driver was unharmed in the incident and was found to be sober at the time of the accident.
Local police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. They are determining whether the tree cutting was properly secured and whether the individuals involved were authorized and adequately trained for the task. This inquiry aims to address safety protocols in such operations to prevent future accidents.
