Trump–Nawrocki Talks in Davos. “Thank you for a successful meeting!”

U.S. President Donald Trump took part in a meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, in Davos, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced. The meeting was also confirmed by President Nawrocki himself, who described it as successful.

According to U.S. journalists accompanying President Trump as part of the so-called press pool, the meeting with Nawrocki took place without media participation.

So far, neither the White House nor the Chancellery of the President of Poland has provided details of the talks. The Polish president is one of six leaders with whom Trump has scheduled bilateral meetings in Davos. Later on Wednesday, the U.S. president is also set to meet Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Subsequently, he will hold talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and on Thursday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Immediately after his speech in Davos, the U.S. president also met with Swiss President Guy Parmelin.

The meeting between Trump and Nawrocki in Davos was the first since the Polish president’s visit to the White House in October last year.

“Thank you, Mr. President, for a successful meeting!” President Nawrocki wrote on X.com.
