President Andrzej Duda has confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump will visit Poland in April. In a conversation with Bloomberg, Duda highlighted Trump’s recognition of the Three Seas Initiative as a significant platform for U.S.-EU cooperation and the development of American interests in Central and Eastern Europe. “He will undoubtedly receive an invitation to the next summit in Warsaw,” Duda stated, emphasizing the initiative’s importance.

Poland’s Defense Commitment

Speaking to CNBC during his visit to Davos, President Duda also stressed Poland’s defense strategy. “We allocate nearly 5% of our GDP to defense, focusing on modernizing our military and strengthening deterrence strategies to prevent Russian aggression,” he noted. Duda called for NATO countries to act in solidarity, advocating for a collective approach to ensuring security in the region.
