“In accordance with Article 22(1b) of the Act on the Council of Ministers, the head of the Presidential Chancellery, Zbigniew Bogucki, will take part in today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers,” Paweł Szefernaker, head of the President’s Cabinet, announced. The Prime Minister has called an “extraordinary meeting” for today following President Karol Nawrocki’s veto of the law concerning the SAFE loan.
Tusk Convenes an “Extraordinary Government Meeting”
President Karol Nawrocki announced yesterday his decision to veto the law concerning the EU SAFE loan. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has already responded to the president’s veto. The head of government announced that today, an “extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers” will take place, during which the government’s response to the president’s decision will be presented.

“The president has lost the chance to behave like a patriot. Shame! Tomorrow at 9 a.m., the Polish government will present its response during an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers,”
Tusk stated yesterday.
Meanwhile, Paweł Szefernaker, head of the President’s Cabinet, announced that the head of the Presidential Chancellery, Zbigniew Bogucki, will participate in today’s government meeting.
“In accordance with Article 22(1b) of the Act on the Council of Ministers, the head of the Presidential Chancellery, Zbigniew Bogucki, will take part in today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers,”
he wrote.
The politician also recalled the wording of Article 22 of the Act on the Council of Ministers, which states:
“At a meeting of the Council of Ministers at which matters concerning the security and defense of the state are considered, a representative of the President of the Republic of Poland shall participate.”
