“That famous second carriage in which Donald Tusk traveled to Kyiv is, from the point of view of a statesman, extremely painful. Even if today the Polish Prime Minister is unfortunately Donald Tusk, I would like him to take part in the most important talks,” said the Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland (KPRP), Zbigniew Bogucki, on TV Republika.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the past became known for his statement that “no one will outplay him.” Now it is 2025 and it has turned out that he is not welcome in high circles – US President Donald Trump prefers to talk with President Karol Nawrocki, while the head of government has to content himself, just like during the already famous journey, with the “second carriage.”
“The fact that Prime Minister Tusk is isolated is something we have not just observed today. These meetings with Trump, but also with the close circle of European leaders, leaders of the great world, only confirm that Donald Tusk has been isolated for much longer,” said Head of the Chancellery of the President Zbigniew Bogucki in Polityczna Kawa on TV Republika.
When PiS was in power, US President Biden flew over Paris, Brussels, Berlin – and where did he land? In Warsaw, to talk with the then President and the PiS government about global security. When Tusk, who was supposed not to be outplayed, took power, we had meetings in Berlin with President Biden, with representatives of the most important European countries – countries to which Poland must belong – but the Polish Prime Minister was not there. That famous second carriage in which Donald Tusk traveled to Kyiv is, from the point of view of a statesman, extremely painful. Even if today the Polish Prime Minister is unfortunately Donald Tusk, I would like him to take part in the most important talks, Bogucki stated.
“Donald Tusk is not welcome at meetings today by Donald Trump. And it is very good that we have President Karol Nawrocki, who will be able to find his place in this format. If we do not firmly defend the Polish interest, we will not be respected. We cannot allow this,” emphasized the Head of the KPRP.
