“TV Republika is changing Poland”: Tomasz Sakiewicz on the Free Speech Zone Station’s Mission and Influence

Shortly before the official start of President Karol Nawrocki’s visit to Washington, the TV Republika summit began. Distinguished guests, including representatives of both presidents’ administrations, will discuss further strengthening of cooperation between Poland and the United States.

At the Kennedy Center in Washington, the “Polish-American Strategic Industries Summit” (September 2-3), organized by TV Republika, has started. The summit is being held in parallel with President Karol Nawrocki’s visit.

We decided to organize this conference right after it turned out that President Karol Nawrocki had received an invitation to the White House. This is an excellent opportunity to open a new chapter in Polish-American cooperation. Not only in purely political matters, but also in other areas. Let today’s meeting be an inspiration – defense, security, cryptocurrencies, nuclear energy, and many other topics important to Poles and Americans. We have a rich history of our relations,” said Adrian Kubicki during the opening of the summit.

After him, the president of TV Republika, Tomasz Sakiewicz, took the floor.

I hope this is the beginning of a new chapter in history. That Washington will be full of conservatives, full of leaders with conservative views,” he addressed the audience.

TV Republika is changing Poland. Around 10 million people watch our television. In addition, there are another three million internet users who follow us online. Poland is becoming a different country. Two years ago, we were disheartened. That was due to the triumph of liberal-left parties. Now, people with conservative views have united. We are showing that we can achieve success. The success of conservatives in Poland is evident,” he said.

Sakiewicz emphasized that the summit would also include detailed discussions on how to strengthen the alliance between Poland and the United States.

We want to show different ways of building the alliance. This is an alliance that goes back 250 years to the times of Kościuszko and George Washington. It is becoming stronger, because it is based on shared values,” he pointed out.
