TV Republika: Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska and Her Husband Used a “VIP Lounge” at Southern Hospital

Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Marshal of the Senate and a politician from the Civic Coalition (KO), as well as her husband, used a “VIP lounge” at Southern Hospital in Warsaw, according to findings by TV Republika journalists Piotr Nisztor and Cezary Gmyz. The list of names is reportedly much longer. The case concerns a medical facility where Civic Coalition politicians and their relatives were allegedly admitted to the Emergency Department (ER) outside the standard queue, while other patients waited for hours to receive assistance.

The website zero.pl revealed that politicians associated with the Civic Coalition and members of their families were allegedly treated at the hospital’s Emergency Department ahead of other patients.

While ordinary patients reportedly waited for many hours to be called in, individuals with the right connections were allegedly sent for examinations almost immediately. According to journalists, some of them were admitted just minutes after registration, and in certain cases underwent a full set of medical tests while other patients continued waiting unsuccessfully for their turn.

The case concerns the Emergency Department at Southern Hospital, whose coordinator is Dawid Kacprzyk. The portal claims it possesses medical documentation and photographic evidence intended to confirm the described cases of preferential treatment.

New information on the matter was provided by Piotr Nisztor of TV Republika. The journalist said that, together with Cezary Gmyz, he had identified one of the individuals who allegedly benefited from the hospital’s special arrangements.

“Together with Cezary Gmyz, we have confirmed that one of the people who used the services of this lounge was Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska. We are also verifying other names. The hospital was heavily used by Civic Coalition politicians. These were VIP services,” Nisztor said on air.

“I hope that Madam Marshal will personally disclose what her stays at this medical facility looked like,” he added.

As Nisztor emphasized, the list of people who allegedly received preferential treatment is believed to be significantly longer. TV Republika journalists are continuing to verify additional names.
