U.S., Australia & UK unveil nuclear-powered submarine plan for Australia – AUKUS project

The leaders of the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom unveiled details of a plan to provide Australia with nuclear-powered attack submarines, a major step to counter China’s ambitions in the Indo-Pacific. The leaders of the three countries met on Monday in San Diego, California.
