A new multimedia educational and entertainment center called “Flyport” has launched at Warsaw-Radom Airport under the theme “Soar into the Sky.” This innovative space combines an exhibition, museum, educational center, and entertainment venue, providing a unique experience for visitors of all ages.
An Engaging Learning Experience
Developed by the Polish company Baltona, Flyport features nearly 1,000 square meters of exhibits covering the history and achievements of aviation and space exploration. “Through entertainment, we aim to educate and familiarize especially younger visitors with airport operations,” said Łukasz Szybkowski, an animator at the center.
Visitors can take the pilot’s seat in a flight simulator and experience the thrill of space travel through immersive displays. Guests can even perform baggage checks, learning about airport security in a hands-on manner.
Accessible to All
Located in the public area of the terminal, Flyport is open to everyone, making it a popular destination for local schools. Since its opening in April last year, Radom Airport aims to accommodate up to three million passengers annually, enhancing its role in the region’s transportation network.
