Over 60 attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border were recorded by the Border Guard within a single day. Migrants attempted to breach border rivers and land barriers.
In the areas of Płaska, Michałowo, Lipsk, and Bobrowniki, on March 20, there were attempts to illegally cross the state border. Migrants tried to break through the technical barrier and cross the border rivers Świsłocz and Istoczanka.
Necessary Medical Assistance
In the past day, medical assistance was also provided to four foreigners in need of medical care. They were handed over to emergency medical teams.
In the early morning, in the area under the jurisdiction of the Border Guard post in Czeremcha, a group of several dozen migrants was caught in the act while attempting to breach our border. Other migrants on the Belarusian side attacked Polish patrols with stones. No one was injured in the incident.
The individuals attempting to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border were from countries including Ethiopia and Afghanistan.
