More than half a million people from around the world have voted, and Warsaw has been named the European Best Destination for 2023! This is an incredible achievement, considering that people from a total of 178 countries participated in the survey.
The official website of the Best Destinations in Europe published the list of “Best European Destinations 2023.” Out of over 400 destinations, the 20 most voted were awarded the aforementioned title.
Warsaw is described as the perfect place for any type of holiday, whether it be with family, friends, or a romantic getaway. The city is full of green parks and city beaches and has an amazing culinary scene. There is always something going on in the city, no matter what time of year, making Warsaw an ideal destination for a cultural city break, a shopping spree, or a romantic stay.
“Warsaw is considered one of the safest city breaks in Europe. Did you know that Warsaw is three times safer than Paris? Twice as safe as Rome and even safer than Vienna (Numbeo datas) and that the feeling of safety while walking alone was one of the highest for a European capital? It seems there are only good reasons to visit Warsaw this year,”

In the top five, we can also read about Athens (Greece), Maribor (Slovenia), Vienna (Austria) and Cittadella (Italy).
