“We Demand the Reintroduction of Border Controls with Germany.” A Strong Appeal from a PiS MP in the Sejm

“Let us stop this evil before it is too late. If Law and Justice (PiS) were in power, we would restore border controls with Germany in this situation. We demand the reintroduction of border controls with Germany,” appealed Paweł Szefernaker, a PiS MP, from the parliamentary podium.

Today, PiS MP Paweł Szefernaker submitted a motion on behalf of the PiS parliamentary club for the restoration of border controls with Germany.

“I would like to submit an extremely important motion. The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has announced that the full implementation of the EU Migration Pact is a top priority. She made this announcement ahead of the summit in Brussels, which is taking place today on this matter. During Poland’s presidency, a summit is being held in Brussels because you did not want this summit to take place in Warsaw. You were afraid that Poles would learn the truth about the implementation of the Migration Pact,”

the politician stated.

He added that “yesterday, in the Sejm, in the Polish Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, Prof. Duszczyk, in a moment of candor, said: ‘The Pact is in force, and that is an obvious obviousness’—this is a scandal, ladies and gentlemen.”

“Let us stop this evil before it is too late. If Law and Justice (PiS) were in power, we would restore border controls with Germany in this situation. We demand the restoration of border controls with Germany,”

he appealed.

Paweł Szefernaker’s statement was commented on by MP Mateusz Morawiecki.

“We have demonstrated how to effectively defend Poland’s borders in the east! When the PiS government was building a barrier, Civic Platform (KO) MPs insulted the Border Guard! And the fact that today they are doing nothing about the western border of Poland while Germany is sending illegal immigrants our way—this is a scandal!”

he emphasized.

Duszczyk on the Pact: “An Obvious Obviousness”

Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Maciej Duszczyk presented information from the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration regarding the Migration Pact and the deportation of migrants to Poland across the German border. His candid remarks were surprising…

The Migration Pact was approved on December 20, 2023, one week after the swearing-in of the new government. “(…) The Pact is in force. It is an obvious obviousness,” he admitted.
