What a farce! Trzaskowski dodged questions while Jaskulski… hugged TV Republika’s reporter [VIDEO]

TV Republika journalist, Adrian Borecki, has shared on social media what happened at one of Rafał Trzaskowski’s recent meetings with voters. Hoping to get answers to pressing questions, the reporter from Telewizja Republika ran into some unexpected “obstacles.”

“What was that?!”

“I’m curious what would happen if a PiS or Confederation MP blocked a question to a presidential candidate this way. Apart from a single press conference, Rafał Trzaskowski keeps running away from questions,” Borecki wrote on X.

And then things took an odd turn…

The encounter, blow‑by‑blow

As Trzaskowski walked past, Borecki called out:

“Mr Mayor, which document were you referring to regarding the EU migration pact?”

Instead of an answer, he got… a hug—from Patryk Jaskulski, an MP for Civic Coalition. No joke. Shouting “Let’s hug!”, the parliamentarian physically blocked the Republika reporter from reaching Donald Tusk’s deputy.

Borecki: “With all due respect, I’m not going to hug you.”

It didn’t help.

Persisting with the awkward spectacle, Jaskulski replied:

Jaskulski: “But I wanted to hug you—because we live in a smiling Poland!”

To which Borecki finally yelled:

“Please stop harassing me!”
