“We have technology for protecting civilians. We are very advanced when it comes to producing modern and effective weapons. Therefore, I propose sharing all of this experience with Poland. Ukraine is offering Poland consultations on protection against drones. We know how to defend ourselves against all types of drones that may be used today,” said President Volodymyr Zelensky.
At noon, Presidents Karol Nawrocki and Volodymyr Zelensky took part in a joint press conference at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. The Ukrainian leader thanked Poland for the opportunity to hold talks and also referred to potential cooperation with Poland.
“Thank you for organizing this visit. I am very happy to be back in Poland on an official visit. Thank you for your openness, thank you for the long conversation with Mr President. I hope this opens a new, important chapter in our relations,” he began.
“The independence of Poland and Ukraine is the foundation of freedom for our part of Europe. It is important that we cooperate and coordinate our efforts in the field of defense,” he stressed.
“I thank Poland for the very tangible support for Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion,” Zelensky said.
He also mentioned President Andrzej Duda: “I would like to mention President Duda here as well, to whom I am also very grateful for his decisive support since the beginning of the war. We thank the entire Polish nation.”
“We encourage Poland to join the coalition of the willing. This is the group that will determine what our region looks like after the war,” he addressed the president.
And further: “We are not only receiving support, but we are also sharing our experience in protecting against war. We have technology for protecting civilians.
