The former deputy minister of justice published screenshots of messages exchanged between employees of TVP Info in liquidation and Zbigniew Ziobro’s wife.
On Thursday evening, the District Court for Warsaw-Mokotów decided to impose temporary detention on the former minister of justice and Law and Justice (PiS) MP Zbigniew Ziobro. The ruling came after an all-day, already third, hearing on the National Prosecutor’s Office’s motion to apply detention to Zbigniew Ziobro.
The topic dominated the evening broadcast on TVP Info in liquidation. In her program, just before 10 p.m., Dorota Wysocka-Schnepf attempted to contact the former minister of justice.
“The PiS press office is not responding, so we will try through his wife Patrycja Kotecka-Ziobro. We are trying to call her now,” she said on air.
The newsroom’s behavior met with a strong reaction from internet users.

This morning, Michał Woś, former deputy head of the Ministry of Justice, published the content of messages between employees of TVP Info in liquidation and Zbigniew Ziobro’s wife. This exchange took place several hours before the live program. It clearly shows that the politician’s wife did not want to take part in the station’s program in liquidation.
The correspondence shown in the screenshots was as follows:
Zbigniew Ziobro’s wife: “Madam, through me you can arrange interviews with MPs Jaki, Ozdoba, and Obajtek, for whom I work. In matters concerning Zbigniew Ziobro, please contact him through formal channels, via the PiS press office. Besides, my husband has no unsecured connections; those who persecute him do. I encourage you to make a program about Roman Giertych’s connections with Polnord. Unless you are forbidden?”
