    Another round of talks between the leaders of the United Right

    On Thursday afternoon there will be another round of talks between the leaders of the United Right (Zjednoczona Prawica) concerning the reconstruction of the government. Although the representatives of the three coalition groups were optimistic about the ongoing negotiations. Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of Law and Justice Party (PiS), described the talks as ‘complicated’.

    It is said unofficially that during the previous meeting on Monday, the number of ministries that will remain after the government’s reconstruction was tentatively accepted by all parties. Political talks with the participation of, above all Law and Justice Party (PiS) leader Jarosław Kaczyński, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Head of United Poland Zbigniew Ziobro and Leader of the Agreement Jarosław Gowin lasted over the five hours.

    At the Tuesday press conference, PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński emphasized that talks on the reconstruction were still ongoing.

    ‘I can only say that the talks are ongoing, and these are complicated talks, but I am deeply convinced that they will bring the right results. I hope that the changes, that we are planning, will be implemented,’ Kaczyński said.

    The government spokesman Piotr Müller said that there were no final decisions as to the arrangement of the government yet. However, he stressed that the maximum number of ministries after the reconstruction would be 14 or 15.
