More than 10,000 people have applied for military service via the Internet since the launch of the new recruitment portal “zostanzolnierzem.pl” (“become a soldier”), the Ministry of Defense informed on Twitter.
In early September, Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak announced that the recruitment process for the Polish Army would be shortened. He informed that for this purpose the recruitment portal zostanzolnierzem.pl (become a soldier) was launched. As Błaszczak assured, the new recruitment formula is a change that will significantly accelerate and facilitate joining the Polish Army.
Currently, candidates for military service can submit applications in electronic form via the zostanzolnierzem.pl portal. As the Ministry of National Defense assures, the candidate will receive information within 14 days from submitting such an application, when and at which Military Recruitment Center is to appear to complete the formalities and undergo the required tests.
