On the occasion of the Epiphany and Christmas Eve in the Eastern Rite, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki posted a special Facebook post. ‘Today’s day, January 6, is a special date for Christianity,’ he wrote while making his New Year’s wishes.
In the Catholic Church on January 6th is celebrated the feast of the Epiphany, in Polish tradition called the Feast of the Three Kings. On this occasion, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki expressed his wishes to the Poles.
‘Today’s day, January 6th, is a special date for Christianity. The faithful of the Eastern Rite sit down to the Christmas Eve supper, which is the beginning of Christ’s birthday for them. In the Roman Catholic Church, we celebrate the Epiphany, traditionally called the Feast of the Three Kings. I take this opportunity to wish everyone that this New Year 2021 will be better than the previous one so that with our diversity and plurality of views, human solidarity and true fraternity will prevail,’ wrote Prime Minister on Facebook.
