The European Volleyball Championship ended today with two matches in the Katowice Spodek. Poles won with the Serbian team 3:0 thus winning the bronze medal.
Today’s match of Poland is probably the last match with coach Vital Heynen, as his contract ends.
The final match of the championship proved to be the tensest and at the same time eye-pleasing match full of a fierce battle for the gold medal. Italy won in the fifth set (3:2) thus winning the gold medal. Both teams showed great skills.
