Dawid Tomala, the gold medal winner in the 50 km race walk at this year’s XXXII Olympic Games in Tokyo, has joined a large group of sportsmen and sportswomen whose careers are supported by Totalizator Sportowy, the owner of the LOTTO brand. The cooperation agreement was concluded for three years.
“Since the XXXII Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, the name of Mr. Dawid Tomala is one of the most popular names of athletes, not only in Poland. It is due to his Olympic victory in the 50 km race walk with the time of 3 hours 50 minutes and 8 seconds”, said Olgierd Cieślik, President of Totalizator Sportowy’s Management Board, before signing the letter of intent on cooperation with the Olympic Champion from Tokyo.
“And as of today, a three-year agreement binds us with Totalizator Sportowy and together we will strengthen both the Totalizator Sportowy brand and the product brands under the LOTTO name,” announced Olgierd Cieślik.

“The gold medal I have with me today was my dream. I think that every sportsman dream to hold a medal like the one I won in Tokyo in his hands,” said Dawid Tomala, Olympic champion from Tokyo.
He added that he was very happy to have the opportunity to cooperate with such a partner as Totalizator Sportowy.
During the ceremony, Dawid Tomala handed over to President Olgierd Cieślik the shoes in which he “walked out” the Olympic gold. They were handed over to Totalizator Sportowy’s Mobile Museum which was established to mark the company’s 65th anniversary. Today, it stood on the premises of the Legia Warszawa Stadium where a letter of intent between Dawid Tomala and Totalizator Sportowy was signed.
