    A unique edition of the Paderewski Festival

    The International Festival of I.J. Paderewski is a cyclical cultural event dedicated to the memory of one of the most outstanding Polish pianists, composers, and independence activists. This year, the 8th, unique edition of the festival will take place, related to the 80th anniversary of Paderewski’s death. The event takes place on November 3-13 in Warsaw. PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna (Polish Energy Group) has become a partner of the festival.

    This year, in the program of the VIII International Festival of I.J. Paderewski, there will be numerous symphonic and chamber concerts with the participation of international artists from the world of music. Among them, there will be, among others soprano singer – Ewa Biegas, conductor Jean Hobson, accordion maestro Klaudiusz Baran, jazz singer Dorota Miśkiewicz from the Atom String Quartet, and the National Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra.

    In addition, the guests of the Festival will be able to see an exhibition of works by students of the Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of Dr. Katarzyna Stanny and listen to poems by Cyprian Kamil Norwid recited by Grażyna Barczewska – an actress of the Polish Theater.

    The festival events will take place at the Royal Castle, the Wilanów Palace, the National Philharmonic, and the Polish Radio Concert Studio. Admission to all events is free.

    The concert is organized by the AveArte Foundation under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport. The festival’s partner is PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna (Polish Energy Group).
