PKO Bank Polski supports the Border Guard

PKO Bank Polski donated specialist equipment worth approx. half a million PLN to the Nadbużański Division of Border Guard in Chełm. Among other things, border guards received drones with thermal imaging cameras. This is not the bank’s first donation related to the current situation both at the border and the health of citizens.

The Bank conducts action to the community and also supports uniformed services, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Support of border services by the PKO Bank Polski Foundation is an example of preventive measures. The assistance is directed at operational activities aimed at increasing security on the eastern border of Poland and the European Union.

Through the Foundation, PKO Bank Polski joined the nationwide campaign #MuremZaPolskimMundurem (#SupportForPolishServices) and supported the services guarding Poland’s eastern border with a donation of PLN 500 thousand. Specialized operational equipment was donated, including drones with thermal cameras and a panoramic thermal imaging camera.

For many years now, PKO Bank Polski has been supporting projects important for local communities, aimed at supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and integration of communities in the Lublin region. Within the province, it serves customers in several dozen branches and agencies. Lublin is also the location of one of the three headquarters of the Bank’s Contact Center.
