Recent reports show that the Russians have reached the outskirts of Kyiv, and more information about attacks by Russian troops is being received from various parts of Ukraine.
“The situation in Kyiv is very difficult. In the morning, the Russians began shelling the city. Drones drop bombs on residential buildings. People are dying,” President Andrzej Duda wrote on Facebook after Friday morning talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In the last hour, an air alert was announced in several cities of Ukraine, incl. in Lviv and Rivne in the west and Kyiv. People report aeroplanes over Kharkiv, although there is no specific information about what these planes are.

According to the newest reports on Twitter, Six US Air Force F-35 Lightning II aircraft assigned to the 34th Fighter Squadron, currently operating from Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany, were sent to Estonian Amari Air Base, Lithuanian Siauliai Air Base and Romanian Fetesti Air Base, as reported on Twitter.
