    The presidents were shocked by what they saw in the city near Kyiv

    The presidents of Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – Andrzej Duda, Alar Karis, Egils Levits and Gitanas Nauseda – visited the city of Borodyanka in Kyiv oblast, Jakub Kumoch, Head of the Presidential Office for International Politics, said. “They have seen the world that Russia offers to the people around them. There are no words to express that,” he added.

    The presidents of Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – Andrzej Duda, Alar Karis, Egils Levits and Gitanas Nauseda – were in Ukraine on Wednesday to meet the country’s president, Volodymyr Zełenski.

     

    Kumoch posted a Twitter post with pictures of the destroyed city. “Borodyanka – only a few dozen minutes’ drive from Kyiv. The presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have seen the world that Russia offers to the people around them. There are no words to express that,” the head of the Presidential Office for International Policy wrote on Twitter.

     

     

    The Lithuanian President also wrote about his visit to Bordyanka. He was shocked by what he saw.

     

    “Visited Borodyanka today. This is where the dark side of humankind has shown its face. Brutal war crimes committed by the Russian army will not stay unpunished. War criminals must be prosecuted internationally. Stay strong, Ukraine!” Gitanas Nauseda wrote on Twitter

     

    The visit of the Presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to Kyiv has been the first visit of heads of state to the Ukrainian capital since the beginning of Russian aggression. Last time, presidents Duda and Nauseda met in Kyiv the day before the war.
