Pol’and’Rock Festival was formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland. It is an annual free rock music festival in Poland that has been held since 1995. The new name reflects both the rock’n’roll roots of the event and the strong ties to the heritage of the Polish democratic and freedom fighting movement. It is also the biggest non-commercial music event in Europe.
This year 28th edition of the festival is taking place on August 4-6 in a new location – Czaplinek-Broczyno airfield in north-western Poland. The theme of this year’s edition of Pol’and’Rock Festival 2022 is – Love, friendship, music, and the end of the war. People can listen to various music bands and well-known stars or take part in other activities prepared by the festival’s organizers. One of the most famous parts of the event are traditional (for sure, non-obligatory) mud baths.
The Festival is driven by ideals rather than money. We promote standards of love and friendship, and we believe in music as accessible to all regardless of the depth of their pockets. We showcase some of the best international and legendary music acts from Poland and promising new bands worldwide on five vibrant festival stages. Even though our festival’s roots are essentially all heavy metal, we diversify our line-up so that fans of rock, indie, hip-hop, alternative rock, and reggae will find something to enjoy.
