On August 25, Poles celebrate Polish Food Day. The holiday was established in 2013 on the initiative of the Nationwide Promotional Program “Doceń polskie” (English: Appreciate Polish goods). Polish Food Day aims to raise awareness of how rich the offer of domestic food producers is.
“Since 2013, we have been celebrating Polish Food Day to remind the public of the high-quality Polish food and draw attention to the rich market of our domestic food products. What Polish food or dish do you like best?” the Chancellery of the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter.
